Kate began her Pilates journey over 20 years ago, initially as a way to enhance her health and fitness during her first pregnancy. What started as a personal endeavour evolved into a lifelong passion. Over the years, she dedicated herself to mastering the practice, finding it to be an essential part of her wellness routine.
After more than 15 years of rigorous practice and personal growth, Kate felt ready to share her knowledge and passion with others. She pursued comprehensive teacher training and obtained her qualifications from renowned institutions such as Future Fit, Stott Pilates, and APPI. These programmes are known for their thorough and rigorous training, each offering unique perspectives and techniques in Pilates. Kate is qualified in both Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates, which allows her to offer a versatile range of classes.
With this knowledge, Kate has cultivated a rich and diverse understanding of Pilates. She skilfully incorporates elements from each training programme into her teaching, providing a holistic and well-rounded approach. This blend of methodologies allows her to cater to a wide range of clients, addressing various fitness levels and health needs.
Kate’s teaching is characterised by her deep commitment to the principles of Pilates, her empathetic approach to individual needs, and her ability to integrate different techniques to optimise health and fitness outcomes.
